The Muslim community of Tangerang Regency performs Eid al-Fitr prayers in congregation at the Al-Mutaqien Mosque, Cikupa District, Tangerang Regency, Friday (21/4/2023)

Hundreds of Muslims in Cikupa, Tangerang Regency were seen filling the Al-Mutaqien Mosque, Friday (21/4/2023) to carry out Eid al-Fitr prayers in congregation. The enthusiasm of the community in participating in these activities was also high. This can be seen from the overflowing congregation outside the courtyard of the mosque.

That day, Iskandar as the elder at the mosque said to always maintain harmony among people and between religious believers. "Hopefully, Allah SWT always gives taufik and His guidance to all of us. Hopefully, we are all always under His protection," said Iskandar.

After delivering his remarks, the Eid al-Fitr prayer at the Al-Mutaqien Mosque began. The prayer is led by Ustadz Idris. After the prayer, the congregation also listened to a sermon delivered by the Chancellor of Muhammadiyah University of Tangerang, namely Dr. H. Ahmad Amarullah, M.Pd. 

In his sermon, he invited the entire congregation to give thanks to Allah SWT who had brought them together with a holy and blessed Ramadan. In fact, the congregation is also given the opportunity to fast for a full month and meet Eid al-Fitr. "We are among the lucky ones. I hope we can always increase our faith and piety to Allah SWT," he said. After listening to the sermon, the community closed the Eid al-Fitr series at the mosque by carrying out halalbihalal.
