1. Guidance [ˈgī-dᵊn(t)s]

Part of speech: Noun

Indonesian: Panduan

Definition: Advice or information aimed at resolving a problem or difficulty, especially as given by someone in authority

e.g: “He looked to his father for inspiration and guidance”

Synonyms: guidance, directive, compass, orientation, handbook.

 

2. Hinder [ˈhin-dər]

Part of speech: Verb

Indonesian: Menghalangi

Definition: Create difficulties for (someone or something), resulting in delay or obstruction.

e.g: “Various family stalemates were hindering communication”

Synonyms: prevent, hinder, deter, preclude, impede, obstruct

3. Disruptive [disˈrəptiv]

Part of speech: adjective

Indonesian: mengganggu

Definition: causing or tending to cause disruption.

e.g: “the hours of work are disruptive to home life.”

Synonyms: troublesome, rowdy, unruly.

 

4. Rigorous [ˈriɡ(ə)rəs]

Definition: extremely thorough, exhaustive.

e.g: “the rigorous testing of consumer products”
